Your privacy in the D2W app
This page explains the information used by the D2W beta. Read it alongside the D2W website privacy notice. Questions or requests: contact@d2wfinancegroup.com.
What you enter
Your account uses an email address, password and optional first name. Your plan may include account labels, balances, expected income, bills, everyday budgets, debt balances, goals and check-in history. Add labels such as “Monzo current account”; do not enter card numbers, bank passwords, account numbers or identity documents.
How your information is used
Your information is used to sign you in, save your plan, calculate the estimates you request and operate the beta. These core functions are provided under the beta agreement. Essential security checks and abuse prevention support the legitimate interest of keeping accounts and the service secure.
Feedback includes your comments, an optional name you choose to provide, a tester reference linked to your account, any optional survey answers, the submission date, the screen you were using and its review status. A copy is emailed to the D2W owner using Resend; delivery status is recorded so a failed notification can be retried. Your financial plan is not attached. Individual beta invitations record the recipient email, optional name, code expiry, redemption and email sending status. Invitation emails are sent only when the D2W owner chooses to send them. If you choose to allow a follow-up, your account email is shared with the D2W owner for that feedback conversation. It is not a marketing subscription.
Where it is stored
Supabase provides account authentication and the app database, hosted in its London region. The app is hosted using Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Email and hosting services process the information needed to operate the service; their infrastructure and support can involve international processing. See the main privacy notice for provider and transfer information.
Each saved plan belongs to its signed-in user. Access rules restrict other testers from reading or changing it. The feedback inbox gives the D2W owner access to submitted feedback, not a dashboard of everyone’s financial plans.
Cookies and usage information
The beta uses essential session cookies to keep you signed in and to verify account email links. Session cookies are inaccessible to page scripts. No advertising analytics is installed in this beta. Hashed network identifiers are used to limit repeated account requests within short windows. Password-reset permissions last 15 minutes and can be used once. Expired security records stop authorising requests and are removed in small batches when later account requests arrive; stored records may remain longer if the app is quiet.
Keeping and removing information
Your current plan remains until you clear it or delete your beta account. The app retains up to 104 reviewed check-ins and 12 recent change explanations. Feedback remains with your account until deletion. Email copies are managed separately in the D2W mailbox; contact D2W if you want those copies removed too. Invitation records are kept to manage beta access and reviewed when the pilot ends. At the end of the eight-week pilot, D2W will tell participants whether testing is continuing or account closure is planned.
In Settings & help you can download your app information or permanently delete your beta account. Deletion removes your live login, plan and feedback. Provider backups and security records may persist for the provider’s retention period. Copies you downloaded or emailed are outside the app’s deletion process. Your website waitlist entry is separate; contact D2W to manage it.
Your choices and rights
You can correct your figures and request access, erasure, restriction or data portability where applicable. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw permission for feedback follow-up. Raise a request at the contact address above. You may also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office. Using the app does not require agreement to product marketing.
